AIESEC

AIESEC (Association internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales) – is the international youth noncommercial not political independent organization completely operated by students and recent graduates.

Present in over 110 countries and territories and with over 60,000 members, AIESEC is the world's largest youth-run organization. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to participate in international internships, experience leadership and participate in a global learning environment. What makes AIESEC unique is the youth driven impactful experience that it offers to its members. AIESEC is run by young people for young people, enabling a strong experience to all its stakeholders.

 SYNDESMOS

 The world brotherhood of orthodox youth «Синдесмос» (English SYNDESMOS) – the international church-public organization.

History

«Синдесмос» has been founded in 1953 in Paris. Activity of the organization has met with approval from a management of all local churches.

Originally a brotherhood of consisted only of the youth organizations, but in 1964 it began to accept and theological educational institutions. From now its activity has started to extend to the East Europe, and in 1971 to the Soviet Union.

Modern condition

Now 126 organizations take part in movement and educational institutions from 42 countries. Last years it is criticized for political activity, decrease of activity outside the Western Europe and the growth of middle age of participants. The general secretary of a brotherhood is in Athenes with Spiros Stimuris in the head.
