Stilyagi

Stilyagi - youth subculture in the USSR, received a wide circulation in large Soviet cities from the end 1940 on the beginning of 1960th years, had as the standard mainly American way of life. Dandies the deliberate political apathy, the certain cynicism in judgements, negative (or indifferent) distinguished the attitude to some norms of the Soviet morals.

The Subculture of dandies was the original spontaneous protest against the stereotypes of behaviour accepted in the Soviet society, and also against uniformity in clothes, in music and in style of a life. Long time (on the middle of 60th) dandies in the Soviet press (and also in moralistic rhetoric of officials and « conscious citizens ») called in general the young men followed fashions and convicted of an immoral way of life.

There Is an opinion, that the term of "dandy" has come from language of jazzmen, musicians. These young men usually named themselves «shtanniki », that is admirers of the American style in clothes.

In the first years of existence of the given phenomenon the shape of the dandy was caricature: wide bright trousers, a baggy jacket, a hat with wide fields, inconceivable color socks, a notorious tie « a fire in jungle ».

Subsequently appearance of the dandy has undergone significant changes: there were the trousers-pipes, shaken up "cook" on a head, an elegant jacket with wide shoulders, a narrow tie - «herring», fastened on tiny unit, a umbrella –walking stick. Actual at dandies were considered a sweater « with deers ».

As footwear in the environment of dandies low shoes on a thick white rubber sole (so-called "cream of wheat") were welcomed. Bright shirts in « the Hawaiian style » in the summer were popular.

In the environment of dandies an original luxury goods - trophy lighters and cigarette cases, the American playing cards with half-naked girls, rare at that time pens were popular

For the girl to pass for the dandy, was bright enough to be painted and carry a hairdress « a nimbus of the world » (around of a head twisted hair and stacked in the form of a wreath). The narrow skirts, fitting a hip were considered as " the Special glamour ».

Hymn of dandies became a song from a film « Serenade the Solar Valley » under the name « the Train to Chattanooga »:

Emo

Emo - has occurred from a word "emotional". It is subculture also as well as the subculture of Gotha has occurred from punks. Right at the beginning in 1985 when this subculture some groups only arose have started to play the strange music a little bit not similar on the usual then punk. A basis of their tracks became a melodious vocal. This emotional and lyrical vocal became a basis of a musical direction. Emo, as well as any other musical style, changed and developed. At this stage there were various kinds of emo-style and it is the first wave emo.

Also as well as at any other subcultures based on music, representatives of subculture emo differ world outlook standards and external a kind. Outlook of subculture emo directed on sensations and emotion of the person and display of these emotions in the clothes, appearance, behavior and certainly music. The basic emotions are: grief, melancholy and love. In texts of songs depression, loneliness, melancholy, a rage and feeling of isolation from all worlds around is a question basically of such feelings, as confusion.

Representatives of subculture emo it is frequent associates with tearful teenagers who constantly cry. This association has appeared because of their appearance and behaviour, hairdresses, clothes, a make-up and statements. Clothes emo, things in black-pink scale at which there are various bandages on hands, belts with metal rivets, and also various badges. Hairdresses at emo the diversified - but basically thick the painted in black and pink color of a bang which cover one eye and half of forehead.

Hippie

Hippie - philosophy and the subculture which has initially arisen in 1960th years in the USA.

I have from apart shown them as it is necessary, a sign "Victoria" (type, we shall win!) - two fingers representing the latin letter «V». This sign on hippie welcomed each other and so each other learned.

Ideology

Blossoming of movement has fallen to the end 1960 - the beginning of 1970th years. The ideology consists that originally the hippie protested against Puritan morals of some Protestant churches, and also propagandized aspiration to return to natural cleanliness through love and pacifism. One of the most known slogans of hippie: « Make love, not war! », that means: « Distribute love instead of war! ».

Music

Besides external attributes - «fenechek », to culture of hippie the folklore tradition «zamorochek» concerns also. Basically it is songs, verses and "carts", amusing histories from a life of system. One of traditional hippie employment – "ask”, begging. This collecting money from taking place fellow citizens is usual.

Symbolic and culture of hippie have formed a basis for many other things domestic youth subcultures (spoken languages it is ready andreper, for example, are creatively deformed hippie slang).
